Description
We have completed a detailed plan for integrating robots into the ORCA control framework. We demonstrated our preliminary work to enable remote virtual lab for robotics at GEC8.

Our plan to integrate robots into ORCA control framework is as follows.
a) Enhance the iGems robotics testbed with better design and video streaming. (11/2, 2010, GEC 9)
b) Move the entire testbed (sensors and robotics) to ORCA clearinghouse and make it available for internal testing across two sites at UF and OSU. Enhance iGems with Hyper-V server to support multiple sessions and simple sensor-actuator networks integrating sensors and robots. (3/1/2011, GEC 10)
c) Make the bestbed available for public testing. Setup connections through Florida NLR. Further revise the design of sensor and robotics testbed. Performance evaluation and analysis for cross-site experiments. (7/26/2011, GEC 11)
