Spiral 2 GENI Integration Release

During Spiral 2, several projects completed software and added resources to the GENI network, as reflected in their Spiral 2 project milestones. The GPO reviewed, used, and tested these deliverables, as shown in this table. The results are listed by test priority in each cluster. Test priority was based on how widely deployed the software and resources under consideration are, and whether significant other testing has already been done. (For example, all PlanetLab software is tested in the field by Princeton before release.) Any Test status other than "DONE" means that testing was not completed by the end of Spiral 2. Those projects were moved to the candidate release list for Spiral 3 (GENI Integration Release 3.1 or 3.2).

This page captures the state of GENI Integration Release 2.1 at the end of Spiral 2 (September 2010). Click on a project in the "Evaluation Details" column for detailed integration information. You will find information about locating the resource, locating, downloading, and installing any software packages that can be run in a typical lab environment (e.g. virtual machines on an ethernet connected to GENI). You will also find documentation on any issues reported during testing, an in some cases actions taken by the project teams to address those issues.
