The Global Environment for Network Innovations – GENI – is a new, nationwide suite of infrastructure supporting research and education in networking, distributed systems, security, and novel applications. It is supported by the National Science Foundation, and available without charge for research and classroom use.

Resources for experimenters

GENI is a federated virtual laboratory that provides access to multiple different testbeds to GENI experimenters, enabling networking and distributed systems research. However, the GENI ecosystem, terminology and lingo might appear to be overwhelming to a new GENI user. Don't worry, we are here to help!
