Description

The Internet2 and National LamdaRail OpenFlow Core switches will be reconfigured from 0800 to 1200 EST on 2.9.2011. The reconfiguration will implement the topology found at NetworkCore. Outages will be experienced for the links mentioned below.

The following VLAN participation (trunks) will change to implement the new topology:

  • Remove 3715, I2: NEWY-WASH
  • Add 3715, I2: LOSA-NEWY
  • Remove 3716, NLR: ATLA-CHIC
  • Add 3716, NLR: CHIC-DENV
  • Remove 3716, I2: ATLA-HOUS
  • Add 3716, I2: I2: HOUS-LOSA

As of 8:32 AM Eastern, changes are complete, NLR and I2, VLAN 3715 and 3716.
