We have a 1.544 Mbps connection to the Internet dedicated to demonstrations at the hotel, in addition to the wireless network that is supporting the conference and hotel guests. NAT is likely to be required for static addresses on the wired ethernet(still working this out with the hotel). Projects that indicated traffic loads of up to 2Mbps should adjust their demo plans accordingly. Worst case is that three such projects would try to run simultaneously, according to project requests. Actual demo traffic should be bursty, so we should do better than worst case.

Here is a mailing label to be used if you want to send any demo materials (including posters) to the hotel in advance. Please indicate packages shipped on your demo ticket, which will allow GPO staff that arrive early to verify that it is in the hotel storage (and more importantly let you know if it was not).

NAT for static IP addresses WILL be required.

Projectors will be rented and fairly expensive. We're investigating whether some projects may be able to bring their own, or use 19" monitors. Conditionally confirming projector requests for now.

There are no table-top easels available for posters, but you may display posters on the tables if you have a way to stand them up.
