Description

In a scenario where 4 VMs are requested, I am not able to login to one of the VMs.

I have ran into this problem on two separate instances of a 4 VMs sliver. The most current failure occurred on a sliver named IG-CT-1, where I am not able to login to the VM associated with port 30780 on pc3.utah.geniracks.net even though the VM is listed as "ready".

Description

Created a sliver with 2 VMs on shared VLAN 1750. Sliver creation was successful and was able to login to the nodes. Once logged in, the nodes are not able to ping each other. Nodes are:

  • pc1.utah.geniracks.net port 31546
  • pc1.utah.geniracks.net port 31547

Sliver name is IG-CT-4

InstaGENI servers should disable SSH password access whenever possible, and it should be possible to do without loss of functionality in this case.
