Agenda / Details
The purpose of this tutorial is to get familiar with the OpenFlow Protocol, understands how it works and get some hands-on experience in writing your own OpenFlow controller. At the tutorial we will also review the current use of OpenFlow in GENI, demonstrate a simple setup and learn how you can setup your own experiment.
Pre-Requisites
- GEC20Agenda/GettingStartedWithGENI tutorial or equivalent experience with experimentation with GENI.
- Use of ssh to log into machines. You must have an ssh client on your machine.
- Basic familiarity with the UNIX command line.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts.
