We have shut off the interface on the BBN PlanetLab node connected to plastic-104. We did not take down the entire slice. This should stop the offending traffic to Rutgers. Please let us know if you want us to take down the entire slice instead.

That last was a transcript of BBN's last update to GMOC. The affected interface is eth1.1750:42104 on our production pl nodes

I have notified Josh Smift that we had to take down his plastic-104 slice due to a request from the GMOC. I also notified Josh Smift that I had accidentally disrupted traffic on his plastic-103 sliver on navis, and that it was back up.

At this point, gpo-infra, GMOC folks, and Josh Smift all know about this outage.

GMOC has closed the ticket for the emergency shutdown (ticket #4 in the GMOC project of the GRNOC ticket database), and they have opened a new ticket for restoring slice plastic-104. The new ticket is ticket #5 in their database.
