GpENI GEC10 demo

1. Brief demo description: Demonstration of GpENI (Great Plains Environment for Network Innovation) programmable testbed for future Internet research. GpENI is an international testbed centered on a Midwest US regional optical network that is programmable at all layers of the protocol stack, using PlanetLab, VINI, and DCN, and interconnected to ProtoGENI in the US and G-Lab and ResumeNet? in Europe. We will demonstrate the topology, functionality, and operations of GpENI. We will additionally demonstrate a chat application on the PlanetLab subaggregate, topology control in the VINI subaggregate, and the creation VLANs in the DCN sub-=aggregate.

3. Number of wired network connections: 8 for laptops

4. Number of wireless network connections: 2 for laptops

5. Number of static addresses needed (if any): 0

6. Projector (y) two projectors and screens if space is available.

8. Number of posters (poster boards are 20" x 30"): 2

9. Description of any special requests: If possible, put us next to MAX and GMOC. Other project that would make sense to be near: GUSH, PlanetLab.
