Milestone IMF S2.b completion

Based on the overall direction and progress of the project, we have re-evaluated our priorities and have decided to postpone the bulk of the work planned for this milestone until Year 2 of our project.

This effort was going to be coordinated with the measurement ontology work at ORCA, and the effort was postponed in view of the ongoing increasing focus on I&M as an overarching are of interest in GENI. We intend to catch up with this next year, as well as coordinate with the selected I&M frameworks that will be developed. This will also avoid doubled up effort which would result from our attempting to describe an ontology just from the point of view of the IMF team, since a much larger fraction of the GENI community will now be turning their attention to this area.

With respect to the IMF project itself, we have documented the measurement quantities we have actually used as well as their representations, which we have chosen keeping in mind the need to be able to expand into a larger ontology in the long run, and we will continue to do so.

We request closing of this ticket, and we will coordinate with GPO to define tasks for the next year.
