#132 | fixed | MANFRED/MAX GEC5 demo | ||
Description |
In our demonstration for GEC5, MANFRED will demonstrate an Aggregate Manager based on Web Services (SOAP/WSDL) that we have developed which integrates with our existing SOAP/WSDL-based circuit provisioning system and with the PlanetLab GENIWrapper for provisioning compute slivers. The demonstration will show end-to-end 802.1Q VLAN slices being provisioned between PlanetLab slivers in a more integrated fashion than we demonstrated in our GEC4 demo. (Our GEC4 demo included the capability to schedule/provision a high-speed dedicated circuit between 1-1000Mbps with 1Mbps granularity, which terminated as a tagged Ethernet 802.1Q VLAN on end hosts either running the PlanetLab MyPLC software or running as a standalone server.) Additional details about our demo will be appended to this ticket as they develop. Our demonstration has the following requirements at the GEC5 venue in Seattle:
If needed, we can offer to bring a portable projector. We would still need the projector screen in any case. |
