Tunneling packets from CMU to Homenet nodes - We have a solution for this which is used and tested - OpenVPN is capable of doing this level of tunnelling and it is done by default. We are working on refining this functionality, as right now the dataplane and controlplane are part of a shared Layer3 OpenVPN channel to homenet nodes - we want there to be separate VPNs. As with others, we don't yet have this automatically managed and it is not yet the ideal solution, although the ticket does not mandate this. This subticket is done. |
