Description
A common thing for GENI experimenters is for them to want to reboot their node. We believe this will continue to be true with ExoGENI.
This ticket is to ask for some way to do this. That might be 'implement AM API v3', a NEuca function, or something else. But it would be useful to have this some way.

Can someone maybe investigate whether OpenStack? supports it or not and in case it is supported whether this would work within the Orca framework, before we dismiss it completely?
If it is not supported then we can talk about what the best way to deal with it then.

It looks like there is a "nova reboot" command in the OpenStack command line interface. Maybe the ExoGENI/ORCA control software could invoke that command in the future as part of AM API v3 support.
As I explained in an email, this is not a function of the control framework, but of the underlying substrate. Making an assumption that this is universally applicable is not the right way to go. If OpenStack? supports it, we can find the way to do it. If not, there is nothing we can do.
