Demo Participant: Matvey Arye, Michale Freedman, Prem Gopalan, Erik Nordstrom, Jen Rexford, David Shue
SCAFFOLD is a network architecture designed to support the needs of replicated, dynamic Internet services, deployed within and across datacenters. SCAFFOLD provides flow-based anycast with (possibly moving) service instances, yet allows addresses to change over time as instances fail, recover, or move. This demo showcases our SCAFFOLD prototype -- which includes an end-host network stack (built as extensions to Linux and the BSD socket API) and a network infrastructure (built on top of OpenFlow and NOX) -- and how SCAFFOLD handles service dynamism among replicated services.
- List of equipment that will need AC connections (e.g. laptop, switch hardware prototype, monitor). (Just put in the number of connections needed if your demo description already lists the equipment)
- Total of seven (four laptops, two displays, one for optional switch)
- Number of wired network connections (include required bandwidth if significant)
- Four wired network connections
- Number of wireless network connections (include required bandwidth if significant) only

- One high def projector (DVI preferred)
- One high def (1920x1080) wide-screen display (DVI). If not available, another high def projector, as opposed to a smaller monitor
- Number of posters (poster boards are 20" x 30")
- Two posters
- Number of static addresses needed (if any)
- One static IP address
