More updates about the layer2 VLAN for WSU

Suppose the system consists of a base station (10.3.11.11), a Netspan server (10.3.11.252), a laptop hosting a WiMAX dongle. When the dongle connects to the BS, its hosting laptop is assigned an IP 10.3.11.* by DHCP. What we request is an end-to-end connectivity from WSU to the demo site. Specifically, data can be transferred from the laptop hosting the dongle at WSU to a PC/laptop at the demo site through the WiMAX and I2 network. As shown in the following illustration, what we need is the connectivity from our BS to the demo site (the red arrow).

Laptop (10.3.11.*) hosting a WiMAX Dongle at WSU <---------> BS at WSU (10.3.11.11) <------------> PC/laptop at the demo site

We tested the topology today. VLAN 915 will need to be plumbed from the I2 end point @Wisc to the demo floor.

We tested pings between the Wisconsin wimax base station and the WSU base station.
