Description
Christoph pushed a change for creating XMPP nodes in 5.4 (see http://mytestbed.net/issues/1218). We need to upgrade to get this change so we don't need to create the XMPP nodes in the init script.

emmy9 has been update with the new Version. instaGENI runs on Fedora 15. For OML installation GLIBC 2.15 is required which requires a higher version on Fedora. Contacted Christoph to check if OMF 5.4.2 can run with the old version of OML

Upgrade to OMF-5.4.2 on InstaGENI RCs was successful. Ran OML Experiments as well as Labwiki. No registration of pubsub nodes was required. Upgrade to OMF-5.4.2 on ExoGENI RCs still under testing.
Will create new image for InstaGENI and ExoGENI(once tested) with updated OMF-5.4

I have tested OMF-5.4.2 on both ExoGENI and InstaGENI by running OMF Experiments using OMF and Labwiki. Just as expected, there is no registration of pubsub nodes required before we run an experiment.
The new image for InstaGENI which contains the updated OMF-5.4.2 can be used by specifying the manager as shown below: For GPOLab BBN manager, you can use id=urn:publicid:IDN+instageni.gpolab.bbn.com+image+emulab-net:GIMIomf For other managers, you can use url=https://boss.instageni.gpolab.bbn.com/image_metadata.php?uuid=2a721653-a868-11e2-921f-029e26f15299
I am still in the process of creating an updated ExoGENI image.
One conflict I encountered with InstaGENI was with the OML installation as stated earlier. However, the OMF does not depend on an OML update and Christoph confirmed this. I also did tests with Labwiki and have not encountered any issues so far. The current version of OML on InstaGENI is: oml2 2.9.0-39.1
With ExoGENI, there were no conflicts.

The ExoGENI image has been updated. The new image to be used is:
disk_image name="http://emmy9.casa.umass.edu/Disk_Images/ExoGENI/exogeni-umass-ovs-1.0.3.xml"[[BR]]
version="de35e71b31771870bcdfcccb4dee11657ba145b8"
This contains the updated OMF-5.4.2.

emmy9 and images (start with instaGENI) need to be upgraded to OMF 5.4.2 to try the new functionality of not having to register slices manually.
