[[PageOutline(1, Table of Contents)]] = Welcome to the GENI Wiki = The GENI Wiki is a repository of information related to the GENI design and the [wiki:AboutTheGPO GENI Project Office (GPO)]-led design process. '''Editing this Wiki:''' See [wiki:GeniWikiGettingStarted] for information on how to post and for site-wide conventions. = A Geographically Accurate Representation of Active Resources in GENI = [[ThumbImage(geni_adoption.jpg,thumb=1000)]] The above map shows the breadth of technologies in use in GENI so far and allows the assessment of the geographic diversity of resources. On the latter metric, the news is mixed. Although our deployment to date covers a variety of expected locations (and some lesser-known ones), we have an almost-surprising amount of work to do in expanding outside of the so-called "cradle of civilization". That said, some exciting work has been happening recently. Since the most recent GEC there has already been exciting identity verification work taking place on troy, and work re-routing flows around pompeii is showing great promise. We hope this brief look at GENI's past will give us some direction as we plan for Spiral 4 and beyond. = Finding Information in this Wiki = === Information on GENI Constituencies === {{{ #!html

The GEC is the [wiki:AboutTheGPO GPO's] regular open working meeting where researchers, developers, industrial & international partners and the GPO meet to advance infrastructure planning and prototyping for the GENI project. Further, the GEC focuses on how to design and build a suite of infrastructure that can best inspire and support creative research. The conference is open to all.
