28 This project builds an open/programmable !WiMax testbed on the campus of Polytechnic University of NYU.  It utilizes the "Open GENI !WiMax Base Station Kit for Campus Deployments" provided by an associated project (Rutgers and NEC).  It provides for the installation, maintenance and integration of the !WiMax base station kit with existing experimentation facilities at the university.
28This project will add WiMax capability to a Campus Vehicular Testbed (C-VeT) to support the deployment and testing of vehicular services and applications over both WiFi and WiMax.  It will feature resource virtualization in order to enable shared access by multiple experimenters using the ORBIT Management Framework (OMF).  To establish the WiMax capability, we will procure a “GENI WiMax base station kit”.
