GPO System Engineer: Harry Mussman
Scope
This project will deploy one WiMAX base station kit (provided by Rutgers) at the University of Michigan, and connect it to an instance of the Infinity framework that is deployed on GENI resources. The Infinity framework provides for virtual storage flexibly mapped to physical storage, network adaptation to manipulate the routing of storage packets, and mobile terminal adaptation to the user’s needs. Together, they will be used to deploy and demonstrate resource-aware content delivery over a wireless link. The Infinity API will be provided to enable others to perform new experiments based on programmable storage.
