== Software ==

The GENI Portal software is available at https://github.com/GENI-NSF/geni-portal. Software releases, including RPMs and changes, can be found under the "Releases" tab.
Detailed installation instructions can be found in the file INSTALL-centos.md. Software updates are installed via RPM using `yum`.

== Configuration Management ==

The GENI Portal host runs CentOS 7. Packages are updated periodically as part of software updates. Privileged host accounts are created and managed by the University of Kentucky staff.

Each portal page lists the currently running portal software version and corresponds to one of the releases found on the geni-portal !GitHub repository (see above).

The GENI Portal has no data plane connectivity.
