== Proposal Topic Areas ==

 * Q: Is it OK if my proposal addresses more than one of the topic areas A-E listed in the solicitation?
 * A: Yes. It is important that your proposal address ''at least'' one of the topic areas listed in the solicitation. Proposals that are not responsive to this requirement may be rejected without a full review. Furthermore, proposers are encouraged to submit proposals that have focused goals. However, it is better for you to propose a single, coherent project that touches on multiple topics than to artificially force your project into a single topic area. In short, if you have one main concept, write one proposal. Proposed costs should be consistent with the overall value to GENI, and not simply computed by adding target funding ranges for the multiple topic areas covered.

 * Q: I have an idea for an experiment related to .... Would this experiment be of interest?
 * A: Probably yes. The GPO seeks experiments in a variety of scientific areas. However, it is important that your experiment contribute to validating and improving key GENI capabilities. If your experiment can readily be conducted without using GENI, it is probably not appropriate to this solicitation.

== Eligible Organizations ==

 * Q: Is a non-profit corporation eligible to submit a proposal as a prime or a sub?
 * A: Yes, the GPO welcomes proposals from non-profit corporations, either as a prime contractor or a subcontractor, so long as they meet the other eligibility criteria. Please see section 1.9 of the solicitation for more details.

 * Q: Is a for profit small business eligible to submit a proposal as a prime or a sub?
 * A: Yes, the GPO welcomes proposals from for profit organizations, either as a prime contractor or a subcontractor, so long as they meet the other eligibility criteria. Please see section 1.9 of the solicitation for more details.

== Funding Limits ==

 * Q: What is the funding limit for teams?
 * A: You should use the funding estimates table on page 6 of the solicitation as a guideline. There are no absolute limits on funding, whether for a single investigator or a larger team. However, the GPO will of course be looking for the best value available, so proposals seeking larger funding amounts will be expected to show accordingly greater promise.
