== Project Number == 1869 == Project Title == GENI@SoX – A Regional GENI Deployment [[BR]] a.k.a. SOXREGIONAL === Technical Contacts === '''PI''': Russel Clark, Southern Light Rail, Georgia Institute of Technology , rjc@cc.gatech.edu [[BR]] === Participating Organizations === Southern Light Rail [[BR]] Georgia Institute of Technology [[BR]] === GPO Liaison System Engineer === '''GPO System Engineer:''' [mailto:hdempsey@bbn.com Heidi Dempsey] == Scope == This project will deploy an OpenFlow substrate in the Southeast region to enable GENI OpenFlow access at 19 member institutions and collaboration with GENI rack deployment projects. This proposed project will increase the accessibility of GENI throughout the Southeastern United States. The proposed project leverages previous work deploying GENI services on the Georgia Tech and Clemson campuses. GENI@SoX deployments will be fully compliant with GENI software standards for GENI aggregates, as published at GENI Engineering Conferences. The sites will use one or more GENI Aggregate Managers controlling access to the aggregate resources. The sites will also support GENI experimenter access. The sites will support shared GENI monitoring and operations procedures and interfaces for the meso-scale infrastructure as published at GENI Engineering Conferences. === Current Capabilities === BRIEF descriptions of resources/functions/tools that are available to anyone in the GENI community == Milestones == == Spiral 4 == * [[MilestoneDate(SOXREGIONAL: S4.a Review network design.)]] * [[MilestoneDate(SOXREGIONAL: S4.b Deploy switch and connections to Clemson and Georgia Tech)]] * [[MilestoneDate(SOXREGIONAL: S4.c Meso-scale demo)]] * [[MilestoneDate(SOXREGIONAL: S4.d Integrate and test with GENI racks and meso-scale)]] * [[MilestoneDate(SOXREGIONAL: S4.e Open resources to experimenters)]] == Project Technical Documents == Links to wiki pages for the project's technical documents go here. List should include any document in the working groups, as well as other useful documents. Projects may have a full tree of wiki pages here. === Post-GEC Status Reports === Please use this status report template: QuarterlyStatusReportTemplate Add links to Post-GEC status reports here === Spiral 2 Connectivity === Links to wiki pages about details of infrastrcture that the project is using (if any). Examples include IP addresses, hostnames, URLs, DNS servers, local site network maps, VLANIDs (if permanent VLANs are used), pointers to public keys. GPO may do first drafts of any of these and have the PI correct them to bootstrap. May also include ticket links for pending or known connectivity issues. Many projects will have a full tree of wiki pages here. === Related Projects === [http://URL Project-Name] Includes non-GENI projects.
