= S3MONITOR Project Status Report = Period: March 2012 to July 2012 Title: Scalable, Extensible, and Safe Monitoring of GENI Clusters Authors: Sonia Fahmy, Purdue University == I. Major accomplishments == === A. Milestones achieved === We have completed the second programming exercise for graduate students using GENI, and are currently exploring two ideas for additional exercises. === B. Deliverables made === The first two programming exercises for graduate students using GENI are complete, and good progress is being made on another. == II. Description of work performed since last report == === A. Activities and findings === We have completed the student handout, instructor manual and solutions for the first two programming exercises. The student handouts are available on our wiki page (see C below), whereas the instructor manuals and solutions are available to instructors upon request. We have presented our work on exercises for graduate students using GENI at GEC 14 and the NSF Workshop on Designing Tools and Curricula for Undergraduate Courses in Distributed Systems (see C below). === B.
