Standing Run 004

This is the fourth of a series of standing runs, of indefinite length, for as long as the composition of the slices remained consistent. We're thus no longer writing up results or comments on this page; we expect to create some visualization tools for the raw log data, but haven't yet. (Or switch to using some real I&M tools, at some point.)

The hostpair tables below use SSH aliases (from my ~/.ssh/config file); there are SSH config fragments defining those aliases, is in the log directory below. (Four of them this time, because the FIU and Houston VMs had to be re-created periodically, due to short-notice outages which destroyed all slivers at those sites, or slivers expiring without warning.)

The files are:

  • .ssh_config_1 for the aliases from before July 16th
  • .ssh_config_2 for the aliases between July 16th - 19th
  • .ssh_config_3 for the aliases from July 23rd - August 12th
  • .ssh_config_4 for the aliases from August 12th on

Also, the experiment logs from those VMs were lost when the slivers were destroyed, so the log directory has some gaps.

This run uses Zoing to manage the experments; it launches hour-long runs out of cron, logging each experiment to a separate file.

The raw logs are at http://www.gpolab.bbn.com/plastic-slices/continuation/standing-004/, and run from 2013-07-05 through the present.
