GENI control framework functions will be added to the OMF as they become defined. Support for mobile testbeds will include the handling of disconnection, and providing temporal and spatial control. Reference implementations of your GENI-compliant resource management, experiment control, and measurement framework will be provided to another wireless project, and its testbed will be integrated into your OMF environment as a federated testbed. Both testbeds will be connected to a GENI backbone network. == Current Capabilities == At the end of Spiral 1. == Milestones == [[MilestoneDate(ORBIT: 1a Extend OMF to support multiple heterogeneous testbeds)]] [http://groups.geni.net/geni/ticket/87 status] [[BR]] [[MilestoneDate(ORBIT: 1b Extend OMF interfaces and software to support mobile testbeds)]] [http://groups.geni.net/geni/ticket/88 status] [[BR]] [[MilestoneDate(ORBIT: 1c provide reference implementations of extended OMF software to WiMAX project)]] [http://groups.geni.net/geni/ticket/90 status] [[BR]] [[MilestoneDate(ORBIT: 1d Provide VLAN connections to the GENI backbone)]] [http://groups.geni.net/geni/ticket/91 status] [[BR]] [[MilestoneDate(ORBIT: 1e Establish OMF operating environment, verify, and demo)]] [http://groups.geni.net/geni/ticket/89 status] [[BR]] [[MilestoneDate(ORBIT: 1f Support experimentation by other GENI users)]] [http://groups.geni.net/geni/ticket/92 status] [[BR]] ORBIT: 1out Contribute to GENI outreach plan [http://groups.geni.net/geni/ticket/163 status] [[BR]] == Project Technical Documents == [http://omf.mytestbed.net/wiki/omf/Documentation "Current OMF documents"] [[BR]] [http://orbit-lab.org/wiki/Tutorial "Earlier ORBIT documents"] [[BR]] [http://orbit-lab.org/wiki/Documentation "Early ORBIT documents"] [[BR]] [http://groups.geni.net/geni/attachment/wiki/ORBIT/ORBITDiagram-2.pdf "ORBIT diagram"] [[BR]] [http://groups.geni.net/geni/attachment/wiki/ORBIT/ORBIT_IMAGES_for_GPO.zip "ORBIT images"] [[BR]] For an architecture overview, see:[[BR]] * D.
