OKGems Project Status Report

Period: 1Q10

I. Major accomplishments

  • Built a sensor network testbed at University of Florida
  • Recreated software package (virtual machine image) from the previous version at OSU to UF
  • Enhance robotics testbed to support multiple sessions

A. Milestones achieved

  • OKGEMS: Enhance iGems with Hyper-V server to support multiple sessions and simple sensor-actuator networks integrating sensors and robots.
    • Done

  • Internal server setup is up for testing.

II. Description of work performed during last quarter

  • Summary of accomplishments related to OKGems:
    • Built a sensor network testbed below the ceiling in our lab at UF (capacity up to 150 nodes)

A. Activities and findings

The following tasks are ongoing:

  • Integrate robots and sensor networks testbeds into mobile sensor networks
  • Fully deploy sensor networks (target 120 nodes) to the new ceiling testbed grid
  • Created a MagicLink prototype to integrate multi-site CPS testbeds
