OFPR Project Status Report
Period: GEC10 to GEC11 (Mar 18, 2011 to Jul 28, 2011)
I. Major accomplishments
A. Milestones achieved
[S3.a] Deployed additional HP ProCurve switches so that within the CS Building, we now have four separate kinds of switches that users can connect to:
- Internal (behind the NAT) non-OpenFlow
- External (public IP) non-OpenFlow
- Internal (behind the NAT) OpenFlow
- External (public IP) OpenFlow
In addition, the aggregation switches are now configured to carry both "inside" VLANs and "outsside" VLANs. This is a departure from the complete physical isolation of our "inside" and "outside" traffic. Aggregation switches remain locked down.
