[[PageOutline]] The [wiki:NetworkCore GENI OpenFlow-controlled network core] is a Layer 2 network which can be used for non-IP experiments. OpenFlow allows an experimenter to reserve a sliver of non-IP traffic by specifying a non-IP ethernet type in the !OpenFlow reservation. To avoid traffic conflicts, each experimental ethernet type can be used by only one experiment at a time. Here is a reservation list for ethernet types, in the range of 0x2710 - 0x2774. The ethernet types aren't provided by an aggregate, and thus can't be reserved via the GENI AM API. To reserve one for your experiment, contact `gpo-infra@geni.net`, and let us know when you'd like to start using the subnet (if not "immediately"), and when you expect to be done with it (if you're not sure, give us a date after which we should check back with you to see if you're done). Please DO NOT use an Ethernet Type that you haven't reserved. Thanks! = Current reservations = These sections describe the subnets that are currently reserved. || '''!EthType''' || '''Reserved by/for''' || '''Reserved until''' || || 2710|| GEC11 Tutorial|| 2011-08-15 || || 2711|| GEC11 Tutorial|| 2011-08-15 || || 2712|| GEC11 Tutorial|| 2011-08-15 || || 2713|| GEC11 Tutorial|| 2011-08-15 || || 2714|| GEC11 Tutorial|| 2011-08-15 || || 2715|| GEC11 Tutorial|| 2011-08-15 || || 2716|| GEC11 Tutorial|| 2011-08-15 || || 2717|| GEC11 Tutorial|| 2011-08-15 || || 2718|| GEC11 Tutorial|| 2011-08-15 || || 2719|| GEC11 Tutorial|| 2011-08-15 || || 271A|| GEC11 Tutorial|| 2011-08-15 || || 271B|| GEC11 Tutorial|| 2011-08-15 || || 271C|| GEC11 Tutorial|| 2011-08-15 || || 271D|| GEC11 Tutorial|| 2011-08-15 || || 271E|| GEC11 Tutorial|| 2011-08-15 || || 271F|| GEC11 Tutorial|| 2011-08-15 ||
