ExoGENI Custom Images

In ExoGENI there are multiple ways that you can create custom Images.

To get a list of currently available images on ExoGENI racks take a look at the ORCA Image Registry site available here:

• ​http://geni.renci.org:15080/registry/images.jsp

If you choose to modify and existing image for ExoGENI, information is available on how to:

• ​Modify an existing image loaded on a EG VM and take a snapshot

• ​Use DropBox to store your ExoGENI images

If you want to create a new image of an OS that is not currently available in EG, or port your custom image to EG you can use VirtualBox to create and snapshot your image, follow ​these instructions.
