II. Description of work performed during last quarter

A. Activities and findings

Significant progress was made on mapping the Hive Mind concept to the details of ProtoGENI and DETER. We are continuing to refine the implementation of the model on the ProtoGENI & DETER testbeds, following commentary from BBN and U of Utah and our initial experiments.

We have a functional Python prototype of our digital ants work and have begun a graphical view/demo on top of the Python prototype to show an operator how the digital ants are functioning.

We anticipate a demo of our prototype at GEC 11.

We also established a project web site: http://hivemind.cs.ucdavis.edu/
