State Legend Description
Color(green,Pass)? Test completed and met all criteria
Color(#98FB98,Pass: most criteria)? Test completed and met most criteria. Exceptions documented
Color(red,Fail)? Test completed and failed to meet criteria.
Color(yellow,Complete)? Test completed but will require re-execution due to expected changes
Color(orange,Blocked)? Blocked by ticketed issue(s).

Test Execution

Assumptions:

  • pgeni.gpolab.bbn.com credential are used for tests in this page.

Notes:

  • Stitcher currently does not support AM API v3, because the PG AMs that claimed to do V3 were doing it incorrectly, so stitcher is delivered to run AM API V2.
  • Capacity must be specified for scenarios where Utah IG is end-point.

1.0 VLAN Delegation

The tests captured in this section verify ability for a GENI operator to delegate VLAN for the functions described below.

1.1 Non-OF VLAN allocation

Allocate non-OF VLAN for use by GENI Aggregates responsible for stitching path.

1.2 Aggregate Advertisement verification

Verify Aggregate Advertisement RSpec reflects the non-OF VLAN allocation

2.0 VLAN Configuration

This section verified various VLAN configuration operations that operator will use to manage the stitching environment.

2.1 Add/modify/delete available VLANs

Add/Modify/Delete the VLANs available for the aggregate. Verify that Advertisement reflects changes for each of the add/modify/delete operation.

2.2. Modify VLAN endpoints

Modify the endpoints for a VLAN and verify Advertisement reflects change.

3.0 Bandwidth Allocation

This test section verifies the ability for an operator to manage bandwidth and its allocation for their ION connector that can be used for stitching. Also verify that the Aggregate Advertisement RSpec reflects bandwidth allocation defined by operator

Note: allocation does not require bandwidth enforcement at this point in time.
