     28   You can use any other tools to allocate resources to your slice once the resources are in a GENI __ready__ state. To use your reserved resources with the GENIDesktop, your slice needs to contain a Global Node per aggregate (rack) used. If your slice does not contain one, then the GENIDesktop will prompt you with a message about this. You will need to click on "Yes" to this option.

     30   The GENI Portal provides the option of adding a Global Node when reserving your resources (See "Add Global Node" Button). It also has a link to the GENIDesktop in "Tool" section of its menu on the top right.
