+== 1. Major Accomplishments ==

+The main accomplishments this quarter were 1) presenting the project plan at GEC12, 2) hosting the first GENI research and educational experiment workshop (GREE2012) at GEC13, and 3) planning the first GENI research and educational experiment summer camp at RIT.
+The number of paper submissions and the number of participants at GREE2012 are more than what we expected.

+Two major milestones were achieved during this period.

+The past four months of work on ARPA-GENI have resulted in progress towards five deliverables: 
+1) the project plan at GEC12, 
+2) the GREE2012 flyer, 
+3) the program and proceedings of GREE2012 that was held in conjunction with GEC13, 
+4) the 2012 GENI summer camp flyer, and 
+5) the 2012 GENI summer camp plan.

+=== 2.1 Activities and Findings ===
+The main activities during the past several months have centered on GREE2012 consisting of a keynote, an NSF advices session, a tutorial, a panel/open discussion session, and 18 paper presentations in 6 sessions. A huge amount of time has been spent on the logistics of the workshop and the summer camp, for example, the workshop and summer camp flyers, the advertisements of the workshop and the summer camp, paper reviews, the workshop schedule and program, and the invitations of a keynote speaker, opening/closing remark speakers, session chairs, a tutorial instructor, and panelists. +Delivered a presentation  regarding GENI and the 2012 GENI summer camp in the IEEE Rochester monthly meeting.

+Our main collaborations to date are with GPO staff.
+Mark Berman and Niky Riga at GPO served on the workshop organizing committee and/or the workshop committee.

+We have a lot of communications with Henry Yeh and Mark Berman at GPO regarding the logistics of the workshop and the summer camp.
+We have also been communicating with Rob Ricci and Niky Riga when using ProtoGENI experiments in classroom.
