Data Plane

The NYSERNet InstaGENI rack is connected to four egress networks:

• the NYSERNet OpenFlow network ​http://groups.geni.net/geni/wiki/GeniAggregate/NYSERNetOpenFlow which provides an OpenFlow-enabled path to the GENI Mesoscale
• the NYSERNet Layer 2 network which provides a set of configurable VLANs into the Internet2 ION network
• the NYSERNet Layer 3 network, with connections to Internet2, NLR and other R&E IP backbones
• the commercial Internet via Level(3) and Cogent
