GENI Desktop and GEMINI Tutorial

Background Information

The GEMINI instrumentation and measurement services must be applied to an existing slice. This tutorial assumes the reader is familiar with the process of creating slices, and we do not describe the steps needed to create a slice in this tutorial. However, in this tutorial we will be using a particular example topology. We also assume the user will access the topology using the user workspace VM designed specifically for this tutorial. The example topology RSPEC and the instructions for accessing the slice using the user workspace are given here a background information.

1. Instrumentize the example experiment with GEMINI (Already done for you)
2. Generate traffic in the example experiment and change routes
3. Watch basic traffic graphs using the GEMINI Portal
4. Detailed viewing of passive measurements
5. Configuring and viewing active measurements
