GEC9 Plenary Demonstrations Final Snapshots

This page captures the final GPO snapshots of the environment used for the GEC9 plenary demonstrations. Snapshots captured the following for each demo:

  • A logical topology
  • Systems snapshot
  • Actual site topology

Snapshots were captured for the following GEC9 plenary demonstrations:

  • Education (CDN)
  • GENI-VIOLIN
  • NetServ
  • Pathlet
  • SmartRE

Because many different people in GENI had shared access to the resources for these demos, it is not possible to guarantee that a snapshot include all demo components, but the GPO captured as much of the information as possible. If you have a question about a demo, please email help@geni.net. Demo participants with GENI wiki accounts may update this page, as needed.

Snapshots capture software, hardware, configuration and topologies used for most of the GEC9 Plenary demonstrations. The spreadsheet Demos-snapshot.xls captures the final data collected for all demos, and it allows for sorting by various demo criteria.

Education CDN Demo

This section capture snapshot details for the Education Content Distribution Network (CDN) demo. Logical topology diagrams and components listing are provided. In addition, the following document is attached to provide an experiment specific view.

CDN Demo Logical Topology

This demonstration makes use of the following logical topology for each of the seven experiment that it runs. There are 4 transient experiments and 3 permanent experiments. All CDN experiments use the following logical topology:
