Registration Fee: $250 before May 20th and $285 after May 20th

Cancellation Policy: Registration fees are fully refundable until 7 days prior to the conference.

Breakfasts and lunches will be provided.

We urge all GEC attendees to ensure they have access to the GENI Portal prior to attending GEC23. Please verify or create a new account.

Travel Grants (Deadline of May 4 or while funds are available)

A limited number of travel grants are available.
Please see GEC 23 Travel Grant Application Instructions.

Airport and Transportation information:

The nearest airport to the conference is the University of Illinois Willard Airport (CMI) (flight schedule).
Both hotels provide airport shuttle service from/to CMI. Please coordinate with the hotel prior to your arrival.

The conference is also:
  • 2.5 hour drive from Chicago Midway
  • 3 hour drive from Chicago O'Hare
  • 2.5 hour drive from the Indianapolis, Indiana airport
The best way to get from these airports to the conference is by rental car.

Hands-On Tutorial Pre-work

Most hands-on tutorials require a GENI account and the standard prework.

Some tutorials have additional pre-work which is posted as it becomes available.
