    503 We present a transit passenger monitoring system by using regular WiFi card. The system monitors the packet transmissions from and to passenger's smartphone and/or tablet etc. The system can be used for passenger counting. It can monitor the number of passengers get on/off at each bus stops and provide to the bus company for bus scheduling and route planning. It can also monitor the number of people on street and identify the hot spots in the city.
