Description

The jFed tool is a resource provisioning tool to build experiments on testbeds like GENI racks, European FIRE testbeds, etc. It is built to make it very easy for experimenters to provision machines and networks, while on the other side it also has a lot of functionality for doing advanced experimentation.

In this tutorial we will work on this by starting from a very simple experiment and ending up in a big scale experiment, the typical workflow you do for scaling up and automating your experiment. In this we will combine multiple slices and use stitching to combine multiple racks. For example see topology:

Audience

Of interest to people wanting:

  • a simple graphical tool to build experiments, and
  • interested in scaling up experiments.
