     1= Call For Tutorials =
     2For the upcoming combined GENI Engineering Conference 22 (GEC22) and US Ignite Application Summit, proposals are solicited for introductory, intermediate, and advanced tutorials with a duration ranging from 1.5 to 4 hours. Tutorials should have an interactive, hands-on part but they can be a combination of lecture, interactive workshop, and hands-on training.

     4Preference will be given to tutorials using GENI and/or US Ignite federated resources. They should cover topics of interest to the GENI and US Ignite communities including but not limited to:
     5Use of GENI Federated Aggregates, including international testbeds
     6Experimenter tools
     7Tools for managing experiments (including standard software or system administration tools)
     8Experiment methodology
     9Controller programming for applications
     10Tutorials on networking, distributed systems, SDNs, cloud computing
     11Tutorials for educators, operators, developers
     12Organizing your community for US Ignite
     13Covering multiple topics is encouraged.

     15Proposals should contain the following information:
     16 * Title, Presenter(s) and a full list of instructors
     17 * Abstract
     18 * Intended audience
     19 * US Ignite app developers, GENI users or both
     20 * beginner, intermediate, advanced
     21 * any prerequisites
     22 * Duration - Detailed description and outline (1 page maximum)
     23 * Has this tutorial been given before and if so how this presentation will be different.
     24 * The attached form completed.

     26Tutorial proposals should be submitted in PDF format, should not exceed three (3) pages in total (including the attached form), and be sent to gectutorials@googlegroups.com
