A time when newcomers can attempt an experiment on GENI on their own but instructors will be available as needed.

Attendees will get to pick their own exercise from a selection of topics in the areas:

• network configuration
• demonstrate a networking principle
• write and run a program for an experiment
• practice an intermediate GENI skill
