The nature of the GENI Engineering Conferences has evolved along with the GENI project. Early GECs focused almost exclusively on how we would define and build GENI. More recent GECs have expanded to add a host of additional topics: a very robust series of tutorials, demonstrations and workshops that highlight the progress of GENI and GENI-supported research, classroom applications of GENI and GENI-supported curriculum, collaboration with peer efforts in the US and worldwide, and more.

In this informal working session, we will discuss what's working and what isn't. We'll brainstorm and discuss ideas for future GECs, both near-term, and as GENI moves past its current phase of intensive development and deployment.
