== Advice for Newcomers ==
Experimenters new to GENI are encouraged to:
* Attend tutorials and sessions marked with a ''green dot'' in the agenda. Newcomers are especially encouraged to attend the [wiki:GEC18Agenda/IntroToGENI Introduction to GENI] talk and the three-part [wiki:GEC18Agenda/GettingStartedWithGENI Getting Started With GENI] sequence of tutorials on Sunday.
* Join other newcomers and GPO staff at the [wiki:GEC18Agenda/NewcomerBreakfast Newcomers Breakfasts] on Sunday and Tuesday. The breakfasts will give you an informal opportunity to discuss your plans and ask questions.
* Stop by the [wiki:GEC18Agenda/ExperimenterDropIn Experimenter Drop-in Help Session] on Monday afternoon or the [wiki:GEC18Agenda/CodingSprintTutoring Coding Sprint, Experimenter Tutoring, and Operations GENI Hands-On session] on Tuesday where you can get hands-on assistance with exercises from the tutorials or with any other experiments you plan on running on GENI.
