Advice for Newcomers
Experimenters new to GENI are encouraged to:
- Attend tutorials and sessions marked with a green dot in the agenda. Newcomers are especially encouraged to attend the Introduction to GENI talk and the three-part Getting Started With GENI sequence of tutorials on Sunday.
- Join other newcomers and GPO staff at the Newcomers Breakfasts on Sunday and Tuesday. The breakfasts will give you an informal opportunity to discuss your plans and ask questions.
- Stop by the Experimenter Drop-in Help Session on Monday afternoon or the Coding Sprint, Experimenter Tutoring, and Operations GENI Hands-On session on Tuesday where you can get hands-on assistance with exercises from the tutorials or with any other experiments you plan on running on GENI.
