The purpose of this tutorial is to discuss in detail the life-cycle of a GENI experiment, and provide hands-on experience about how to design and conduct IP and non-IP experiments. In this tutorial, we are also going to learn how to use the GENI Portal which is a web based tool for managing projects, slices, and for reserving resources across GENI.

Pre-Requisites
A basic understanding of GENI concepts (will be covered in the Introduction to GENI and Experimentation using GENI).
Please Arrive With:
Laptop with a recent version of Virtual Box. If you are unable to bring one, you may partner with someone else.
Results
After completing this tutorial, you will have a working GENI slice that will include resources from different aggregates and you will know how to design and deploy a multi-aggregate experiment in GENI.
As part of this tutorial you will get an account at the GENI Clearinghouse. During the tutorial we will use a temporary tutorial project. If you would like to be able to create your own projects, please request this permission via the GENI Portal.
