Get an account
Temporary tutorial credentials will be available during the Experimenter Drop-in Help Session at GEC15. Because there is some time delay between account creation and account approval, you won't be able to create an account and immediately start using it at that session.
However, if you would like to create an account for your later use, you can register at either of the open-access GENI WIMAX testbeds:
Reserve resources
Reservations will have been created ahead of time for the temporary tutorial credentials used in the Experimenter Drop-in Help Session at GEC15. But for future reference, you may visit the following links (using the account you have set up on a GENI WiMAX testbed) to reserve WiMAX resources:

NB: When you make a reservation at NYU-Poly, you have automatically reserved the entire testbed, including the WiMAX base station. When you make a reservation at WINLAB, you will specify the testbed you want to use. At WINLAB, WiMAX nodes are available on the following testbeds:
- grid
- outdoor

Log on
Access to the GENI WiMAX environment is via SSH. Use an SSH client (such as Putty for Windows) to log on to the testbed that you have a reservation on:
- At NYU-Poly, log on to witestlab.poly.edu using the username and the password you were sent when your account was approved. For example, if your user name is "tutorial01" and your password is "gec15" you will SSH to tutorial01@witestlab.poly.edu and enter the password "gec15" when prompted.
