Get Your Own GENI Account

You can do most of the tutorials for the GEC using a personal account. The process for getting a permanent GENI account is described here.

The process requires a couple of approval steps, that might take some time. If you want to have your own personal account for going through the GEC tutorials or for starting a new experiment, you can get a temporary account faster.

To get a temporary account follow these steps:

1. In your browser go the www.pgeni.gpolab.bbn.com tab and make sure you are logged out from any tutorial account.
2. Press in the Request an Account button.
3. Press the "Join an existing project" link
4. Fill out the information that are requested and for Project name use TempAccounts

Note: Make sure you use a valid email address and preferably the email address of your institution. You will need to verify your email address before your account can be approved.
