1515The Topology Management Tool (!ToMaTo) is a topology-centric networking research platform. Using !ToMaTo researchers can manage and use virtual topologies consisting of devices (virtual machines, python programs) and networking components (VPN, physical networks). !ToMaTo offers an easy-to-use web-based frontend, link emulation on virtual links and packet capturing to allow researchers to focus on their research.
1616!ToMaTo has been developed in the context of the German-Lab research project and together with private Planet-Lab and Seattle it is used to run the German- Lab facility consisting of about 200 nodes. The !ToMaTo software is not tied to the German-Lab facility and can easily be installed on other facilities like GENI.
