[[PageOutline]] = CRON Tutorial = == Schedule == Wednesday, 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm == Session Leaders == Jay Park, Louisiana State University == Agenda / Details == Participants in this tutorial will receive step-by-step guidance in setting up experimental networks, using the CRON testbed and the omni tool. Participants will learn how to use the CRON testbed to setup the most typical experimental networks. Scenarios will include experiments which contain end nodes, routers, and delay links, as well the ability for the CRON Testbed to federate with other testbeds. Procedure for the tutorial for the CRON Testbed at the 13th GENI Engineering Conference I. Before the Tutorial 1. Reserve five PCs on the MAX Testbed. 2. Create ten accounts on the CRON Testbed. II. During the Tutorial 1. Group the attendees into ten groups of two. 2. We have two scenarios for attendees, federation and self-contained. Scenario A: Federation For five groups, we guide them step-by-step to use the CRON Testbed and the OMNI Tools to establish experiments which have PCs in both the CRON Testbed and the MAX Testbed. This scenario demonstrates the ability for the CRON Testbed to federate with other testbeds. Figure 1 illustrates the scenario. Scenario B: Self-contained For the other five groups, guide them step-by-step to use the CRON Testbed to establish experiments which contain end nodes, routers, and delay links. This scenario demonstrates the usage for the CRON Testbed to setup the most typical experimental networks. Figure 2 illustrates the scenario.
