    v4 v5
1616Participants will learn how to use the CRON testbed to setup the most typical experimental networks.
1717Scenarios will include experiments which contain end nodes, routers, and delay links, as well the ability for the CRON Testbed to federate with other testbeds.

19Procedure for the tutorial for the CRON Testbed at the 13th GENI Engineering Conference
     20
     21 I.     Before the Tutorial
22      1. Reserve five PCs on the MAX Testbed.
23      2. Create ten accounts on the CRON Testbed.
     24
     25II.     During the Tutorial
     26
     271. Group the attendees into ten groups of two.
     282. We have two scenarios for attendees, federation and self-contained.
     29     Scenario A: Federation
30     For five groups, we guide them step-by-step to use the CRON Testbed and the OMNI Tools to establish experiments which have PCs in both the CRON Testbed and the MAX Testbed.  This scenario demonstrates the ability for
31       the CRON Testbed to federate with other testbeds.  Figure 1 illustrates the scenario.
     32     Scenario B: Self-contained
33     For the other five groups, guide them step-by-step to use the CRON Testbed to establish experiments which contain end nodes, routers, and delay links.  This scenario demonstrates the usage for the CRON Testbed to setup
34     the most typical experimental networks.  Figure 2 illustrates the scenario.
